Troubleshooting Running Light Circuit of Trailer Wiring Stopped Working With 5th Wheel Wiring Kit

Question:

Last year I purchased a Bargman 5th wheel/Gooseneck 90 degree wiring harness for an aluminum truck bed, 7 way-9 long, Code 50-97-410-010. I have 2017 Ford F350 truck 6 3/4 foot bed. The turn signals and brake lights work on my trailers, but the tail/running lights do not. Any ideas/suggestions that I should try? Thanks,

Most of the time this type of problem is a corrosion issue on the pins of the connectors. First check the blades of the 7-way of the # 50-97-410-010 and clean as needed and then try unplugging the connections the adapter makes to install and clean them as well. Most likely you'll find some corrosion that once cleaned up will fix the running light circuit.
