I'm not 100 percent sure what you mean by "latch pin or something" but I am assuming you mean a pin and clip, and we do have one that is 1/2" diameter and 4" long, the Curt Class I and II Pin and Clip # F-4.
This pin and clip is a total of 4" long overall with a 2-1/2" long straight pin. The 1/2" diameter is standard for a hitch pin and clip for a 1-1/4" receiver so the straight part of these is not going to be as long.
If you were looking for a hitch lock the longest with a 1/2" diameter is the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Padlock Style for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # 5200.
This has a 3-1/8" straight length and is 6-3/4" long overall. I've added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
