This can be viewed as a shank for a custom cargo carrier, ball mount, or bike rack. It doesn't have the hollow receiver for an extension but you could fabricate it to do so.

If you are just looking to extend the trailer farther away from the vehicle, I recommend the Curt Extender for 2" Receivers -18" Long # C45796 as a similar length option. An extender will reduce the tongue weight of the trailer hitch receiver by 50% because your are extending the hitch which puts different leverage and torque on the hitch.
