The Replacement Crank Extension for Lippert Components Spare Tire Winch Assemblies part # LC1315411 that is used with the Lippert Components Spare Tire Winch with Offset Cable part # LC159056. Is designed to be either pinned in place using a roll pin, can be bolted with a small 1/8" bolt or for maximum strength be welded directly to the winch. In your case if you have gone through several cotter pins I don't see a roll pin holding up either. You will want to either use the bolt to get more material in there to strengthen it or take it by your local welding or fabrication shop and have them throw a weld on it. The weld would be the best case scenario making sure it works now and in the future for you.
