Can the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs LC432690 Be Used To Replace 24" Wide Steps
Question:
I need to replace the steps going into my Jayco RV. Obviously I bent the orginal ones!?? on your website I have found a set of stairs that match everything but the width of the step. The existing steps on my RV are 24” wide and the product I am looking at says it’s 25 1/2” wide?? If everything else is correct does that make a difference or do I need to look for stairs with a 24 inch wide step?? Please advise ASAP. The item number I am looking at is Lippert Manual Pull-Out steps: #LC432690

In regards to selecting the correct set of pull-out steps for a trailer, the most important dimensions to verify are mounting bracket width and entry height. If these two metrics are correct then you need not worry about the step width although this is correlated to the mounting bracket width. The Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs part # LC432690 has a 27-1/2" wide mounting brackets with an entry height of 25" so if these both work for you then the step width of 25-1/2" won't matter.
