SumoSpring or Timbren Suspension Enhancement for 2011 Ford F-150
Question:
I’m looking at your SumoSpring rear axle helper springs and just need some advice. I have a 2011 Ford F-150 eco-boost, I mostly tow my 20ft boat a few times a month, but sometimes load the bed up to about 2500k the truck payload is rated at about 3000k will I have any problems with the SumoSpring rated at 1500k? The ratings on the SumoSpring seem to offer a better ride than the Timbren Thanks

The payload you reference on your 2011 Ford F-150 is the max capacity with or without helper springs. Adding the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-117-47 you referenced is a great option because they are additional support that progressively help as the load amount increases meaning they get more firm as they compress.
My favorite part about the SumoSprings is they don't change the ride when not loaded but give the strength and support for a better ride when loaded or pulling a trailer. The strength of these particular springs sounds perfect for what you are looking for.
Timbren springs are great options but are more for regular towing. They are much more dense in structure meaning they provide more support as soon as they touch, but that also means they can give you a jolt when going over a bump even unloaded that isn't everyone's favorite. They are great for support and comfort when towing or loaded, but can actually create discomfort at times when unloaded. If you were towing more, I'd recommend the Timbren but for what you stated the SumoSprings will work better.
