Comparing Trailer Hitches for a 2013 Ford Explorer
Question:
What hitches would you recommend for my 2013 ford explorer?Pros and cons of each?

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2013 Ford Explorer is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76034 because it offers the highest weight capacity therefore will be most durable. The other two options (Curt and etrailer) are virtually the same aside from the lower weight capacity so there is really not much compare/contrast. I will however say that the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98867 has a matte finish which will blend in with the vehicle more so than the gloss finish on the Draw-Tite hitch.
If you are looking for a bike rack take a look at our most popular option, the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR.
