How Are Factory Monitor Screens Measured To Determine Correct Third Brake Light Camera System
Question:
Im looking at a truck bed camera for my 2018 GMC 3500. The options for 7 or 8 screen I assume are diagonal measurement? My screen is 7 across and 8 diagonal. Which cam set up is recommended?

Yes, the factory monitor is measured diagonally corner to corner. If your screen is 8" diagonally you need is Custom Third Brake Light Camera for 8" Factory Monitor part # 3460010. This will give you a third brake light camera in the 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with a 150-degree viewing angle for easy fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer hook up. It also comes with a switch kit that allows you to toggle back and forth between the bed camera or backup camera. I have attached a video for your reference.
