Will Trailer Hitch Installed on 2018 Toyota RAV4 Affect Hands Free Liftgate Sensors
Question:
I have a 2018 Toyota Rav4 SE.. The operators manual says it cannot have a trailer hitch.. My guess is it has something to do with the sensors.. Do you have any information that says you have to disconnect sensors or do something else in the install?

In regards to the hands free sensor of your 2018 Toyota RAV4 the hitches we offer like the # e98864 will limit the functionality of them. You will most likely be able to kick your foot to either side of the hitch for the function to still work but in some cases you may lose the entire function.
