The best bike rack adapter bar to use with the Thule Apex XT 4-Bike Rack # TH9025XT is the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # HRBA-PRO.
The reason for that is because the hooks on the Hollywood adapter are made of a highly durable plastic to keep your bikes safe from damage, and because this adapter telescopes from between 15-13/64" to 28-13/16" long, which is a much wider range than most bars.
