Recommended Replacement 215/75r/17.5 Tires for Horse Trailer

Question:

I have a 42ft 4 horse trailer with living quarters that I need new tires for. Obviously, I am searching for a tough tire that is safe and durable to carry the load of my 4 horses plus the trailer. What do you recommend?

Expert Reply:

I recommend going with the Provider 215/75R17.5 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWP15175 as it is the best tire we have in that size. The Provider uses a better siping pattern than the other options so that you get the best traction whether it is wet or dry on the road, it has a max weight rating of 4,805 lbs at 123 psi for a single tire, and then has a max speed rating of 81 mph so you don't have to worry about going too fast at highway speeds and your tires heating up too much.

Attached is a review video for you to check out.
