High Rise Cargo Carrier and Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2020 Kia Telluride

Id like to put the MaxxTow Cargo Carrier on my 2020 Kia Telluride, but I want to have the carrier sit up higher since we do a lot of mountain driving. Is there a riser that you could recommend that would work well?

Expert Reply:
We have a cargo carrier that has quite a bit of rise built into it which I think would be your best option with the etrailer # e98875. This has 11 inches of rise built into the shank of it which is more than any other options. Using a rise adapter with a carrier isn't ideal as it adds quite a bit of movement and also cuts the hitch capacity by 50 percent.
You'll need a 2 inch hitch installed on your 2020 Kia Telluride which for that I recommend the Curt Class III hitch part # C13420 as it has the best tongue weight capacity and is mostly hidden as well.
