Difference Between Curt and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitches for 2012 Mazda CX-9
Question:
These two are very similar other than design. Does one have an edge over the other?

Other than the difference in brand/manufacturer, the Curt # 13575 and the Draw-Tite # 75531 for your Mazda CX-9 are pretty close to identical. Between the two options I do recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13575 because the hitch itself is made in the USA and their powder coat seems to last a lot longer.
Other than that the Curt hitch does feature a square crosstube as opposed to the round tube design on the Draw-Tite, but this is just an aesthetic difference and doesn't affect performance/reliability in any way. Both feature a 4,000 pound towing weight capacity and offer the same simple bolt-on installation.
I have attached an install video for the Curt hitch below that you can also check out.
