Installing Prodigy P3 Brake Controller on 2013 Chevy 3500 for EOH Actuator Compatibility
Question:
Im currently installing a hydrastar EOH kit on a triple axle trailer. I understand I will need the hba-cam to make my existing controller function properly. If install this brake controller I wont need this adapter correct? How hard is it to Install this controller and can it be removed from truck to truck? Thanks

For your Hydrastar Electric over Hydraulic actuator you will not need to use the adapter # HBA-CAM when you use the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195. This brake controller is directly compatible with that actuator when using the EOH setting on the controller. This controller is far superior to the factory controller with adaptor.
The brake controller is easily moved from vehicle to vehicle as long as you have the wiring harness for each truck. Your 2013 Chevy 3500 has the wiring you need under the dash for a simple connection using the harness that comes with the controller. I've attached a video of the installation of a similar controller to assist with the wiring. Many vehicles have a custom plug and play harness so if you have specific vehicles you want the harness for let me know. The splice in harness that comes with the # 90195 is # 20127 if you want a spare.
