Where do the Saftey Chains Connect on the Husky Gooseneck Hitch Part # 31368
Question:
I am looking at the Huskey gooseneck hitch part # 31368 and I dont see 2 D rings for the safety chains. Does this come with D rings? I see the holes but I dont think they will work.

The Husky Gooseneck Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails part # HT31368 has built in connection points in the middle on both sides to connect your chains to. By design the holes will sit away from your truck bed by your rail thickness. In some cases with larger clevis hooks they may not be able to engage.
If this is your situation use two of Bulldog Winch 3/4" Bow Shackle part # BDW20020 for a total capacity of 19,000 lbs or two of Bulldog Winch 7/8" Bow Shackle part # BDW20021 to maximize the hitches 25,000 lb. capacity. These will install in the safety chain connection points on the hitch and allow you to connect your trailer's chains directly to the shackle.
