Swagman Chinnok not Tightening Down

Question:

I purchased this rack last year for my 2013 Nissan Rogue. I absolutely LOVE it - the versatility, ease, and freedom it give me when traveling with my bike. I just recently put the rack back on my car and it doesnt seem secure with the hitch. There is a lot of movement between where the rack and hitch connect. I was able to transport my bike across town without it falling off, but I was concerned that it would. I am wondering if you can help me trouble shoot so that it is more stable. Thank you so much!

This can be resolved by tightening up the included anti rattle bolt. The bolt is designed to tighten the shank of the rack to the outer tube of the hitch securing it incredibly tightly. If you don't have yours you can replace it with the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin part # S64029.

If you did have your bolt in place and it still wasn't tight you need to check the point in which the rack pivots and check to ensure those bolts are tight. These and the other bolts on the rack should be checked periodically.
