How To Upgrade From Furrion Stereo DV3100 To Double Din Stereo
Question:
Upgrading from DV3100 to a Double Din I want to be able to hook my Xbox into my stereo and have it play through my sound bar, not just through my tv speakers. How hard is it to upgrade?

In order to upgrade from the Furrion RV Stereo part # DV3100 which is a single din to a double din such as the Furrion RV Stereo part # DV1230BL you will need to remove the plug from the old harness and splice in the one that comes with the new stereo. That said, the wires are all labeled so this will not be nearly as hard as it sounds. The only thing you'll need for this are butt connectors part # DW05744-10 and wire strippers.
In order to play media through the trailer's speakers you'll need to make the appropriate connections via the RCA cables and then choose the correct inputs on the unit. The exact procedure should be listed in the owner's manual.
