The issue is almost certainly with the hitch cover that you are using after you installed with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56431. A number of hitch covers have been known to wreak havoc with Ford trucks and cause faults in the dash when used so I recommend removing the hitch cover and the issue will abate.

recently installed C56431 on 2019 ford ranger. all functions ok except no 12v constant. using 7 blade tester. also tested 2014 RAM, and power present to verify tester used.

The newer Ford trucks like your 2019 have that 12V circuit run a bit differently. The circuit won't be active until you start the truck, the transmission is placed in gear, and you hit the brake pedal. Test the pin again after doing this and you should hopefully get power. Just let me know if not.

no Luck - tested as described- all other functions turn l/r, brake, tails, and backup all report as expected. truly weird.

Hmmm. Have you checked the fuses under the hood? From what I could find it looks like the 12V trailer fuse is on the bottom of the fuse box in the # 87 position (40 amp fuse) on your Ranger.
