Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2010 Honda Pilot
Question:
what one do you recommend? Its mostly for around town - bringing portable gas grill to the beach, dump runs, packing stuff for college 1 hour trip I do want a folding carrier, steel, and one that has a rise. I looking at the Curt and Sport Rack models. Dont think I want the Car Pod just for the folding sides. Ease of use is important.

The most popular carrier for a 2 inch hitch and that folds is the Curt carrier, # C18151. When folded up, the carrier will be 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. You will need to measure on your 2010 Honda Pilot to make sure you have enough clearance for this carrier when folded up. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
The etrailer cargo carrier, # e98874, will be further when folded up, 9-1/2 inches.
