Troubleshooting No Power Light on Atwood Protechtor for 1997 Carri-Lite Camper
Question:
Propain dector light has stopped blinking, I hit the rest button but nothing happens! Could a fuse be blown? Or maybe have to by a new one? Also would it effect the way that the furnace would operate? Furnace comes on but no heat just started doing that recently

If your Atwood Protechtor isn't working then either the fuse is blown, the power wire is damaged, or you need to replace the entire unit. You can easily enough figure out where the power stops by using a circuit tester # PTW2979 along the red power wire (being sure to check before and after the fuse). If you have no power and all of your wiring looks good then you can replace/upgrade your detector to the Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector # AT36681.
