Bike Rack Solution for Rear Of RV that has Bumper Mounted Spare and Ladder  

Question:

Can this hitch be used with an extension or would it put stress on the bumper and hitch? I would like to use it with a bike rack, but I need an extension in order to clear my ladder and spare tire.

There isn't anything written specifically for the # E-100 that says it can't be used with a hitch extension but I can tell you it's not really a great idea. Since you have a ladder though and a spare I have better bike rack options.

We have the RV Around the Spare Bumper Bike Rack part # S80501 that attaches to your bumper and fits around a spare or we have the ladder bike rack # LA-102 which would be a really great option as well.
