Can I Use Two Different Size Tires on my 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Can I run these tires safely? The 235/80r16’s were mounted on the front and the 235/85r16’s were put on the rear 2017 Keystone Montana

So I'll start this off by saying that your tires have 0.9" difference between the two, and while it might not seem like a huge difference it may cause some issues. I would also think that since the front axle normally carries a bit more of the load, that putting the larger 235/85r16 tire in front would be the way to go with this. It's generally not recommended that tires of different sizes are used in these types of applications. Usually the biggest concern comes with the difference in weight capacities between two different sized tires, but using different sized tires may also wreak havoc with your suspension system, as well as causing issues with the brakes locking up. If the tires are all the same weight capacity, you may be able to get away with this, but I know that I personally don't know that I'd take the chance. I would also add that any warranty you have may not be honored if any damage were to occur because of this, so that should likely be taken into consideration as well.
