Correct Trailer Hitch for 2012 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
what receiver and pin do I need
asked by: Jeff H
Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch receiver I recommend for a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98854 which is a direct bolt-on fit which has a hidden design so you'll only see the receiver tube opening and not the unsightly cross tube. I have attached an install photo for you.
If you will be towing, you'll also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56331 and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 which comes with the pin/clip or you can just use part # PC3.
I linked two installation videos below on the etrailer hitch and the Curt Wiring harness being installed onto a Chrysler Town and Country. The installation process will be the same for your 2012 Chrysler Town and Country. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to me anytime and I would be more than happy to further assist you.
