Recommended Brake Controller for 2020 Chrysler Pacifica with Factory 7-Way
Question:
my 2020 Chrysler pacifica came with the 7-way. What is the easiest way to install a brake controller? I see the bluetooth options but I dont really want to have my phone with me all of the time when I go camping. What is the best option

Expert Reply:
Since your 2020 Chrysler Pacifica came with a factory 7-Way plug there is a factory port under the dash to plug in a brake controller adapter so the easiest way to install a brake controller (other than the blue tooth options like you mention) is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 with the brake controller adapter part # TK93VR. The Prodigy P3 has a nice LCD display screen that has storable settings to tow more than 1 trailer without resetting the boost each time. The Prodigy P3 is also the best option to have if something goes wrong with the wiring because it displays easy to read troubleshooting words instead of confusing codes.
