B and W 25K Or 20K For Fifth Wheel Trailer That Weighs 19K Towed By 2020 Ford F-450
Question:
I am considering a B&W hitch for my 2020 Ford F-450 I have a large fifth wheel that weighs 19K Is the 20K not strong enough should I go with the 25K? I have the factory prep.

Expert Reply:
I recommend to use the B and W 25K Fifth Wheel Hitch, with Below Bed Rails part # BWRVK3305 since the new 5th wheel trailer will be pushing the weight capacity limits of the B and W 20K part # BWRVK3300. The 25K is a bit heavier then the 20K version but the hitch breaks down into manageable pieces to make it easier to install and remove from the bed if you need to. Also If you decide to upgrade your 5th wheel in the future, you won't need to purchase a new 5th wheel hitch.
The B and W 25K will lock into the puck holes of your OEM prep system and the 1" thick jaw of the hitch provides 360 degree contact to eliminate chucking that you may experience with other brands. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
