I have a solution for you, but because the stock spare tire carrier and the 3rd brake light on the Jeep JKU are all one piece, the Rampage Spare Tire Extender # RA86610 will not allow you to continue using the 3rd brake light. In order to continue using your existing 3rd brake light you would need to use a different spare tire carrier like the Bestop # B6196101 which accepts the factory 3rd brake light in the tower on the back of the carrier. This carrier will extend the brake light up over tires as tall as 37" and the carrier is rated to hold up to 200-lbs. It really is a strong and durable option for oversized spare tires and it connects directly to the factory mounting holes, so there isn't any drilling required.
