According to Ford's Towing Guide, the 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty with the 6.7 Diesel engine, Crew Cab, 4x4 has a maximum 5th wheel/Gooseneck towing capacity of 15,700 lbs for single rear wheel trucks. For dual rear wheel drive trucks, it's between 23,500 and 26,500 depending on the axle ratio.
If you're in the market for a 5th wheel hitch, I recommend the B&W Companion # BWRVK3400-5W for a short bed, or # BWRVK3500-5W if you have a long bed, along with the custom installation kit # BWGNRK1111-5W. It's a customer favorite because it's extremely solid, secure and convenient. The Companion hitch head can be taken apart from the base to make removing it easier and the installation kit, which doubles as a gooseneck hitch, installs completely below your bed so once the Companion is removed, you have full access to your bed.
