I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2012 Hyundai Elantra and it looks like the only thing stated is that it can be towed with the front wheels off of the ground. If you are looking for more specifics than that it would be best if you contact your local Hyundai dealer.
If you don't already have a tow dolly then I highly recommend the Demco Kar Kaddy SS # DM9713045 for a few reasons; it has tilting/folding ramps and a folding tongue to make it easier to store (whether at home or the campsite), an integrated disc brake system, lighting, and wiring to get you on the road. Basically this is the Cadillac of tow dollies and it will last you a long time.
