Yes, the Thule Passage 2 Bike Rack, part # TH910XT, will fit on your 1988 BMW 325is. I am including links to the instructions and a video review of the Thule bike rack.
Another recommended trunk bike rack to look at would be the new Thule OutWay Bike Rack, part # TH45JV. This is one of our most popular selling trunk bike racks. If you will be carrying any women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, that do not have the top horizontal frame bar that goes straight across from handle bar stem to seat post, I recommend adding the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, part # TH982XT, to carry the bikes more level.
