How to Raise Suspension of Trailer that Has Slipper Springs

Question:

I have a trailer with two 7k axles with 2” slipper springs. Everything I own has some sort of lift on it and would like to give my trailer a bit of a boost too. Is there an alternative that I can use since I have slipped springs instead of the double eye?

Since one end of a slipper spring is suspended instead of bolted to a hanger or shackle strap the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit part # K71-385-00 and other likes them are considered unsafe for slipper springs.

The only other option to raise the trailer is to replace the spring hangers on your trailer with longer ones. This will raise the trailer frame relative to the axle which can alter the handling so keep that in mind. I have attached a link to the slipper spring hangers we have available.
