Lighter Weight Adjustable 3 Ball Mount for 2 inch Hitch
Question:
How can I find the weight of a given hitch? I am not talking capacity but the weight of the hitch itself. I see some reviews where people say the Curt D900 hitch weighs in at 45# which as I grow older gets heavier and is just more weight on the truck in general especially if I leave the hitch in while not towing. I did not see much information on the Maxx Tow adjustable tri ball weight but since it is solid shank I assume it also weighs a lot. Basically I would like to see the weights of the various options and while I know aluminum may be a solution to my dilemma I dont know what it weighs either and it certainly will cost more. I do need adjustable and multiple ball sizes. Separate hitches may be a possibility but again I dont know weight.

The Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount # D900 does weigh 45 lbs. If you wanted a lighter tri-ball setup you'd want to look into something like the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10047B which only weighs 28 lbs and has the same specs aside from that.
I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
