The Thule Gateway you referred to, part # TH88VR will indeed fit a 2011 Ford Edge. I have included a link to a video review and a link to the installation instructions for you. If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar # TH982XT for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes so that they are level.
