Thank you for the photo! The plug that you found if the "Daytime Running Lights" module and is unfortunately unrelated to the brake controller wiring. Your 2004 Coachmen Sport Elite motorhome is on a Freightliner XC chassis which has no provisions for a brake controller but we do carry the parts you need to install a brake controller.
If you already have a 7-Way installed on your motorhome then you need to route 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 and some Butt Connectors # DW05745-5 from the pin in the 5 o'clock position to your brake controller. If you don't already have a brake controller then I recommend the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN # TK63VR because it is a cost-effective option that is still high-quality. It uses proportional braking so that your trailer brakes are applied at the same time and with the same intensity as your motorhome brakes for smooth braking action.
To install this brake controller you need the Pigtail # 7894 where you will make the following connections:
Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power (with 20A Circuit Breaker # 9506P)
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)
Attached is a diagram giving an example of how your brake controller will need to be connected to be installed correctly. If you have any questions please let me know!
