Yes, the Blue Ox Base Plate # BX1120 does fit a 2005 Jeep Wrangler, so long as you have either the standard bumper from the factory or a double tube bumper. Along with the base plates there are a number of parts you need in order to flat tow your 2005 Jeep Wrangler, including a compatible tow bar. Here is a list of all the parts you'll need:
- Base Plate Kit: Blue Ox Base Plate # BX1120
- Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

- Supplemental Braking System: Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
