Equal-i-zer Recommendation for Trailer with Dry Tongue Weight of 445 lb

Question:

I’m trying to determine the size of equal i zer hitch I need. Empty tongue weight is 445 lbs. GVWR is 4845 lbs. Cargo capacity is 611 lbs. This is a single axle camper trailer. I prefer equal i zer because I am familiar with them. Thank you.

Based on the weights you mentioned the best Equal-i-zer setup you'd need is the part # EQ37060ET which has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs. Most people refer to the Equal-i-zer setups as the best weight distribution you can get so this would be a really great choice.

If you don't have a thin walled socket already to install the hitch ball you'd also need the # ALL643216 and you'd be set.
