Can E-Tracks Attach to Trailer's Mesh Floor
Question:
I am thinking of adding horizontal e track with backing plates to my trailer to tie down my 3 wheeled motorcycle. The tracks would need to be attached to the mesh portion of the trailer on each side pics attached. Curious of a professionals thoughts on this application and or other options? If this would work, what bolts and nuts would you recommend as the tires would be sitting on the e track? Thank you for your opinion on this in advance.

Yes, you could use E-Track on a trailer with a steel mesh with the proper backing plate under the mesh and/or by securing it to the support beams on the underside of the trailer. You can use backing plate # BPEZ and carriage bolt hardware kit part # SLHCBDS-P and you'd be set.
