Weight Distribution Shank With the Most Drop for Trunnion Bar System
Question:
I currently have a Reese 54990 weight distribution shank. My tow vehicle is a lifted Wrangler and I need the lower for the shank. What would be a good replacement shank with a lower mounting position for the Trunnion bar mount?

There are a couple weight distribution shanks you can use to replace your Reese 54990, though I was unable to find out exactly how much drop this shank had. But the two options that fit a 2" trailer hitch receiver and have the most drop for a trunnion bar system are:
- 15-3/4" Maximum Drop: Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17125
- 9" Maximum Drop: Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17124
