Upgrading Tires From 205/75R15 On 15x5 Rims To 225/75R15 Tires On 15x7 Rims

Question:

I have a tandem axle car trailer with 15x5 rim and 205/75R15 tires. I have an extra set of trailer wheels with the same bolt pattern that are 15x7 and I want to run 225/75R15 tires so I can run a higher ply tire. In your experience, will I run into any issues doing this? I believe I have enough clearance. Attached is a picture.

There is some overlap in available rim sizes when upgrading from 205/75-15 to 225/75R15 tires. 205/75-15 tires will mount to 5, 5-1/2, 6, 6-1/2" width rims while the 225/75-15 will mount to 6, 6-1/2, 7" width rims.
AM10303 that would a great choice for your application.

The general rule is you want to keep 3 inches of vertical clearance above the top of the tire to allow for normal travel of the trailer's suspension. Measure from the top of the existing tire to the trailer's suspension.
