RV Stereo Wiring for Going From AWM970 to JWM60A

Question:

In the conversion of an old AWM970 to the newer JWM60A I am using the connectors of the old wiring harness and splicing them into the wiring harness of the newer unit so I can retain the matching wiring harness connectors in my trailer. * Do you hook the BLUE wire of the new JWM 60A wiring harness identified as AMP REMOTE +12VDC 100 mA to any wire on the old harness? * Does the PINK +12VDC Trigger 100mA wire on the old harness of the AWM970 hook to any wire on the new harness of the JWM60A? * Where there are 2 12VDC power supply wires on the old AWM970 harness, one yellow fused and one red does it matter which one is used to connect to the RED on new harness 12 VDC switched I used the yellow as it was fused. Thank you in advance for making this clearer for me.

The amp remote wire you mentioned would get ran to an external amp like for a sub as a trigger wire to tell it to turn on when needed. If you aren't running an external amp this would need need to get wired.

The pink wire of the old harness would not get ran to the red wire of the # JWM60A instead you'd run red to red from old to new stereo. The other power wires do not need to get ran as the harness for the # JWM60A only uses the one switched power wire.

I attached diagrams for both stereo wiring harnesses as well.
