Does All Wiring of ETBC7 Kit Need to be Ran for Just Trailer Lights to Function
Question:
Will trailer lights work if you connect your vehicles 4 pin flat connector but dont connect the 12v power or break wiring on this? Looking for simple way to connect 7 pin on trailer to 4 pin flat on Honda Odyssey to run just the trailer signal lights.

Yes, the trailer lights will work fine without any of the extra wiring of the # ETBC7 attached. If you simply plug in your 4-way to the 4-way of the adapter all of the lighting functions will be present. A better option for you might be the # 37185 though as it doesn't come with the extra wiring and breakers so you'd get the same 7-way adapter and not have to pay for extra components you wouldn't end up using.
