Location of Brake Controller Wiring for 2012 Chevy Colorado
Question:
brake controller wiring for 2012 canyon sle. Your posting says the factory wiring is bundled under the dash i have spent 40 minutes looking and do not see any wiring, however at the rear there is a 7 wire plug and yes they are using all 7 wires.

The wiring to install a brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 on your 2012 Chevy Colorado is likely to be just under the emergency brake pedal, near the door jamb, like you see in the accompanying photo. This photo is from an installation on a 2015 Colorado, but the wiring should be in the same location.
