The height adjustment for your Demco Hijacker Autoslide part # DM8550034 on your 2020 Ram 2500 without the OEM prep package really depends on the trailer that you are towing.
You always want to make sure that you are towing your trailer as level as possible. To do that you will want to set the landing gear on your fifth wheel on the ground and get the trailer level. From there you need to measure from the ground to the bottom of your pin box (not the king pin itself) Then you need to measure from the floor of your truck bed to the ground and you should include the height of the custom rails installed since you will need those to have the Autoslide installed. (I have attached an image to this page to help with exactly where to measure) Once you have those two measurements find the difference and match that number as close as you can with the setting on your hitch.
The Hijacker has three different height adjustments (15-1/4", 16-1/2", and 18") so for example if the bottom of my pin box is 60" off the ground and my truck bed floor including the height of my custom rails is 45" off the ground, the difference would be 15". So the closest setting would be the first of 15-/14"
If you need the custom rails you can pick those up with part # RP50054-58 and I have attached a video on how to install them.
