2019 Ford Escape On Dash Trailer Tow Notification and Alarm Comes on When Trailer Isn't Being Towed
Question:
I was going to remove the fuse for the trailer wiring but I’m unable to find the proper fuse in the fuse box

The 2019 Escape actually has several fuse panels. The one you're looking for is in the cargo area on the passenger side bulkhead behind the wheel well. The Trailer Tow fuse could be in one of two different locations. If your Escape is equipped with the one touch up power windows, the fuse will be in position F28, or F24 is it isn't equipped with one touch up power windows. In either case, it'll be a 40 amp fuse.
Since the vehicle is still presumably under warranty, I'd recommend you have your Ford dealer check it out.
