Solution for Cross Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Bolt for etrailer Cargo Carrier e98874
Question:
The threaded anti rattle pin on this is cross-threaded... what is the thread pitch on this so I can re-thread it?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The thread pitch for the anti-rattle hitch bolt that is included with the etrailer Carco Carrier # e98874 is 16 mm x 2.00, standard thread. I went out and confirmed this myself using a thread pitch gauge.
You could try re-threading the bolt, but since we do carry the bolt separately, it may be easier to just replace it. For that, you'll need part # e98911 or # e99047 for the locking version.
