Expert Reply:

The 3,500 lb capacity of the Electric Jack with Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX absolutely has the capacity for your 9,000 lb Jayco trailer. An A-frame jack such as this one only needs to be able to support the tongue weight of your trailer, which is generally in the 10 percent to 15 percent range, so this jack has plenty of capacity.

This is a really good choice for a jack that has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from our customers who have used it, as you can see by the Reviews tab on the product page.

I have added a link to a couple video reviews of the Electric Jack with Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX foryou to check out as well. I do recommend adding Protective Cover # UF38-944020 as a way to ensure the jack's head is protected from the elements.
