Should a Weight Distribution Head and Ball be Tilted Forward or Backward when Towing a Trailer
Question:
Application: 2011 Dodge Dakota Is the final angle of the ball mount supposed to be tilted rearward, forward, or parallel with ground?

The angle of the ball on a weight distribution system is different for every vehicle/trailer set up. You will want to angle the head unit with the ball on it so that the spring bars are level with the trailer frame. The trailer should be loaded and ready to tow when you set up the system to get the angles correct. It does take some fine tuning to get it just right.
