The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3305 will fit directly to the factory rail kit of the 2020 Ford F-250 short bed that you ordered. Typically this hitch is used for with the long bed models as short bed trucks normally need a slider hitch # BWRVK3370 to gain the needed turning clearance.
If the trailer you plan to tow has a tapered nose with an extended pin box or a pivoting pin box though you would be able to use the fixed hitch. If the trailer has a full width nose or a non-extended pin box you would need the slider hitch to allow you to make tight turns without the nose of the trailer hitting the cab of the truck.
I attached install/review videos for both hitches for you to check out as well.
