Parts Needed to install a 7-Way on a 2009 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Is there an adapter that goes from standard 4-pin flat to a 7-pin round connector on a 2009 Toyota Highlander?

If you do not have trailer brakes on your trailer you could simply get an Adapter 7 Pole to 4 Pole # 37185. All you would need to do is plug the 4-way in to this adapter, tape up or zip-tie the extra wires that you would not need out of the way and you would be ready to go.
If you have a brake controller and plan on using trailer brakes you will need to get a Brake Controller and 7-way Installation Kit # ETBC7. This is very similar to the # 37185 except it also comes with everything you would need to make all of the connections to have a fully functional 7-way.
I attached instructions and an installation video for this product for you to check out.
Both of these products would work well with the Wiring Adapter # 118449 that you referenced.
