How Does the Air Lift Single Needle Gauge Panel with One Paddle Switch Deflate the Air Bags
Question:
Im looking at the single paddle switch and gauge for my existing airbag setup. I understand how the paddle switch allows the bags to inflate, but, hope does it allow them to deflate? Does it exhaust the bag air somewhere? I just dont see how 50psi of bag air is going to deflate when there is 120psi of air tank air pushing on the other side. Does this setup only work on the on demand compressor style setups? Where there isnt head pressure from an air tank?

The Air Lift Single Needle Gauge Panel with One Paddle Switch part # AL26161 will allow you to both inflate and deflate the air bags. There is a small hole on the unit which allows air to escape when the valve is opened. The Air Lift Single Needle Gauge Panel with One Paddle Switch does not recirculate the air back into the tank if that is what you are asking.
I have attached a diagram for you which should help you better understand. The Air Lift Single Needle Gauge Panel with One Paddle Switch can be hooked up directly to a compressor or tank which I think is what you are asking but if not just let me know.
