Parts Needed to Install Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller on 2015 Toyota Highlander with 4-Way
Question:
I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander with trailer tow package with 4 prong light connector. I want to convert to 7 prong to use Echo bluetooth brake controller. What part do I use and what steps to install?

To install and use the Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180 on your 2015 Toyota Highlander that has a factory 4-way currently you'll want the 7-way adapter kit part # ETBC7L and you'd be set. The only additional function the Echo needs beyond the light signal circuits your 4-way has now is the 12 volt accessory circuit to power the controller. The # ETBC7L basically just plugs into your 4-way and then gives you the needed wiring and breaker to activate the 12 volt circuit so you'd be set!
